Rebecca studied English literature at Northwest Nazarene University, and then library science at the University of Illinois. She then worked as a reference librarian at Lake Forest College, before beginning work at Trinity International University in 2006. She is finishing a degree in Christian Thought – Christianity and Contemporary Culture at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS). Her thesis is on “The Hunger Games.”
While not teaching, Rebecca is the Head of Public Services, which means she oversees reference, circulation, interlibrary loan and instruction at the Rolfing Library. She also maintains the website.
Rebecca was the recipient of the 2002 LITA/Library Hi Tech Award for an Illinois OCLC Users Group tutorial.
